Web 2.0 tools
I've had a little experience with some Web 2.0 tools such as vokis, which I think are really cool. I also had heard of social bookmarking, but had not used this tool. I really liked the voice thread as well. I think the voice thread can be used to let students tell a story. In math, maybe the student can come up with his/her own math real world problem and solution. Then the student can let us hear the voicethread, and let the rest of the class comment on it. This would help all the students with math and acquire some technology skills at the same time. I like the interactivity that we have with the Web 2.0 tools.

It could be really neat to hear a class tell a story through a voice thread. I think it would be cool to put a picture of someone or a scene and have the clas do a continuation story about what they are seeing. All of the web 2.0 tools could be used in numerous ways!

I certainly agree with your ideas about how students could use the web 2.0 tools to better communicate with each other. I think these tools would be really neat to use for a project like assignment so that the students could work on it whenever they are able.
ReplyDeleteGreat Idea!!! I think it would be fun to use a voice thread for a math project. I believe this would be a way for the students who don't enjoy math to get more involved.
